La Boca Tango Fest

Argentine tango is our passion that unites us with millions of people around the world. Each dancer is the creator, each expresses itself in improvisation in his unique manner. And at the same time - tango is based on the platform of the traditions and long history.
Our mission is to share the experience of the world-famous tango dancers and to show the tango in all its diversity. We carefully organize the programme of the Festival, choosing the best locations in St.-Petersburg for the festivals events, best tango dj-s and best maestros. We pay a lot of attention to the atmosphere of La Boca Tango Festival in order all participants enjoy it. That's why La Boca Tango Festival is held under the motto UNIDOS EN TANGO!

The Gala Concert, two Grand Milongas, the Championships, and several other festival events will be held at the Wawelberg Hotel.  The Wawelberg Hotel is housed in one of the city's most prominent architectural buildings. Among the hotels on Nevsky Prospect in St. Petersburg, it stands out for its uniqueness. Its granite facade in the Neo-Renaissance style is one of the iconic landmarks of the city's main "artery."  

The hotel building, known as the "Wawelberg House," is an architectural monument from the early 20th century. Its history began in 1910 when the St. Petersburg Commercial Bank was constructed here by order of Mikhail Ippolitovich Wawelberg, a representative of a famous banking family. The building has witnessed many events and had numerous owners. In 2017, a large-scale reconstruction began to convert it into a historic hotel, with special attention paid to preserving the original appearance of the facade and interiors.  **Special offer!** A special room booking offer is available only for festival participants!
